The ATOM Honored With Davey Award In
International Competition
Chronic Zing's in-house film
and video production company wins seventh international award.

The
Davey Awards,
sanctioned by the International Academy of the Visual Arts,
honors The
ATOM Film & Sound Works, the film and video production
arm of Chronic Zing Entertainment, with a silver award
for video and multimedia production. An award for a standard
of excellence achievement was given for “The
Burr King Advantage” DVD, an interactive multimedia
sales tool produced for Burr King Manufacturing, Inc.
“The Burr King Advantage” DVD informs
prospective customers of the advantages of Burr King’s
unique line of grinding and polishing solutions. The DVD,
which is targeted at corporate managers and small business
owners, encourages prospects to visit Burr King’s new
e-commerce website where machines may be purchased online
directly from the factory. The
ATOM Film & Sound Works handled all aspects of the project,
from concept through production and DVD development. Web-based
videos, a specialty of The ATOM since 2001, were also created
to be integrated into Burr King’s website at a later
date.
“The Burr King Advantage” DVD was
designed to market a product that is difficult to sell without
seeing it in action. “Sometimes it’s hard for
people to understand what we do,” says Don MacCarthy,
President of Burr King Manufacturing. “These guys [The
ATOM] caught the vision and are doing a super job.”

“We
couldn’t be more thrilled about this recognition,”
said Josh Williams, producer and co-owner. “We attribute
the success of this DVD to the close collaboration between
the client’s knowledgeable staff and our imaginative
in-house writers, designers, and production team.” The
ATOM Film & Sound Works was honored in 2006 with three
International Telly Awards for lighting and sound design
as well as two
International Aegis Awards for excellence in video production.
Altogether, The ATOM Film & Sound Works has received seven
international awards for video production excellence over
the past three years.
