Howdy.
In case you weren't able to watch it yesterday afternoon,
"Sausagehead"
was featured in a live webcast. This webcast was made possible
by Chet and the folks at Webcast
Group Inc. So how did a bizzare monstrocity like "Sausagehead"
wind up on a corporate webcast?
As some of you may know, Chronic Zing Entertainment
creates some killer productions for business clients through
our in-house production company, The
ATOM Film & Sound Works (you can read about our latest
production awards
here.) In the course of conducting our regular business activities
we stumbled upon a company that provides live webcasting services.
We contacted them for a quote. The next thing I know, this
guy named Chet (the sales manager) is on the phone talking
about how great "Sausagehead" is and how much they
like it around the office.
Fast-forward a couple months... Webcast Group
conducts regular webcasting demos that show off the capabilities
of their system, live from their offices in Ohio. Chet calls
back asking if they can use "Sausagehead" in their
annual Halloween Webcast, a goofy seasonal version of their
usual demo. It's kind of like the "Elvira Show"
meets teleconferencing. Josh and I said, "Sure, why not?"
And the rest is history.
