FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE - October 11, 2005

Point Lookout, MO - Chronic Zing Entertainment, a cinema and television entertainment company based in the Midwest, is proud to announce the formation of a new division aimed at assisting other organizations with telling their stories. THE ATOM Film + Sound Works seeks to provide filmmakers with high-end, motion picture production services to see their visions come to the screen. THE ATOM will also seek to serve business and organizational clients by providing cinematic-styled productions that tell their stories.

"We were already helping independent producers in the area carry out their visions," says Josh Williams, co-founder of Chronic Zing Entertainment. "This Spring we helped a producer from Las Vegas in the production of a television pilot (more here). And this Summer we assisted an independent filmmaker from California with a short feature film. It was only natural to give this side of our company its own identity."

THE ATOM Film + Sound Works is anything but the average Midwestern production studio. At THE ATOM, production of a short feature film is as commonplace as a television commercial or industrial video.

"We believe that everyone's story is important," says Jason Spencer, Williams' business partner and co-founder of Chronic Zing Entertainment. "We pay careful attention to the client's ideas and we try to honor that, egos aside. Secondly, we try to give every production we undertake a cinematic look and feel. We use the same techniques we would use if we were making a Chronic Zing film. It adds to the emotion of the piece and helps tell the client's story. I feel that what we have to offer is unique."

THE ATOM's focus will be on storytelling. Williams and Spencer insist that good stories are told with emotion, and that emotion moves the viewer to action. That action, for the organizational client, could mean more sales or more awareness for their cause.

"If the viewer hasn't been moved to do what the film was supposed to motivate them to do," Spencer says, "then the bottom line is the filmmaker hasn't done his job. You can have the biggest crew and the coolest looking camera in the world, but if you haven't moved the viewer to respond then you should have stayed home."

THE ATOM Film + Sound Works has already begun its first production, a DVD catalog for Burr King Manufacturing, a leading manufacturer of industrial finishing equipment that's been in the business for over 50 years. Burr King's in-house designer looked for production companies that could supply them with a substitute for their printed catalog that was "part custom chopper and part custom hot-rod."

Burr King hired THE ATOM.

"We've completed the principle photography and things are going great," says Spencer. "This won't be your ordinary industrial equipment video. We're keeping it professional, but at the same time we're telling the company's story with sparks, a rockin' soundtrack, and lots of testosterone."
