Catch! Post Production Rolls Ahead

Dialogue recording to begin soon.

January 27, 2005 - FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Ozark, MO - After a lengthy holiday break and work on various commerical/corporate projects, Chronic Zing has focused on the post production of Catch!, its newest comedy film. The film will be Chronic Zing's second indie short and will be released to festivals this Spring.

During the first two weeks of January, director Josh Williams and editor Jason Spencer completed the first rough cut of the film. At the same time, composer Jay Nielson has been working on the film's score from his studio in Canada. The rough cut of Catch! is being shipped to Nielson this week so he can time the score to the picture cut. While the score is being finished, Williams and Spencer will concentrate on re-recording dialogue, color-correcting the footage, and completing the visual effects from their offices in Missouri. Then Nielson's score will be added and a final audio mix will be performed.

Steve: I'm gonna freaking kill you!"

Like Sausagehead, all of the audio for Catch! will be overdubbed for the highest quality possible.

The producers hopes to complete the film by the end of February, with a local premiere shortly afterward. The presentation will be a double feature with Chronic Zing's award-winning short Sausagehead.
