Sausagehead Wins Best Picture

The Horror/Comedy recieved the Show-Me Festival's highest honor.

November 16, 2004 - FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Ozark, MO - Sausagehead, Chronic Zing's first short film for 2004, was honored with the Best Picture Award at the Show-Me Digital Film Festival on November 12, 2004 in Cape Girardeau, MO. This was Sausagehead's first festival and its first public viewing. The film was up against 11 other films from around the world, including one entry from Los Angeles, CA and one from Victoria, Austrailia. This was the first year for the Show-Me Digital Film Festival and the Cape Filmmaker's Cooperative did a great job putting on the event. They are planning a four-day festival for November 2005.

Josh Williams was amazingly exciteified about the first ever public showing of Sausagehead.

The festival, sponsored by the Missouri Film Commission, was held in the Student Ballroom on the campus of Southeast Missouri State University.

Thanks to every Chronic Zing fan out there for their prayers and support over the years. We will hold a local viewing of Sausagehead and Catch! this winter in Branson for all of our local friends and supporters.
