Sausage Enters post production

April 5, 2004

Ozark, MO - Chronic Zing Entertainment wrapped-up principal photography for Sausage, an original short film, last weekend and has moved into the post production phase of the project. This film is the first short Chronic Zing has worked on for over a year as they have concentrated their efforts on television work such as Bill Across America. It is also the first 24P film Chronic Zing has ever shot.

Director Josh Williams discusses the finer points of being an evil clown with actor Matt Scott.

"We used 24P in Bill Across America and loved the look," says Jason Spencer, Sausage's Director of Photography. "When Sausage premiers in film festivals this summer, people are going to be impressed."

Sausage is the first of many new short films Chronic Zing intends to produce over the next 12 months. "It feels really good to get back to what we started doing in the first place," says Josh Williams, Writer and Director of Sausage. Overall, Chronic Zing's management and their crew are excited with the direction they are headed in. The editing process has already begun, with a rough cut expected before Easter. ADR, Foley recording, and scoring will take place in the following four to six weeks.

Chronic Zing continues to agressively pursue avenues in television, such as Bill Across America. But according to Williams and Spencer, the short films are back and here to stay.
